January 28th, 2025, the European Irrigation Association will organized a High-Level Roundtable, in partnership with The European House – Ambrosetti (TEHA) on the contribution of Sustainable Irrigation to the transition of the market our sector serves.

Almost 80 persons, from Europe and the rest of the world, members and not members, attended the cocktail. It was the opportunity to celebrate all together the strong development of the association for the last 4 years, and the association’s various projects for 2025

The European Irrigation Association (EIA) Forum was held online on Friday 18 October 2024 .Main topics  :  “ Spring rainwater in urban areas” and “Sub-surface irrigation and water storage technologies for sustainable greening & water saving in gardening & landscaping”.

World Water Week 2024 is centered on water cooperation, for peace and security in its broadest sense.

During this GA, the 2023 financial results and 2024 budgets were approved, 3 new Board members were elected and EIA President Moshi Berenstein gave an update on EIA activities.

After several months of work, supported by many EIA’s internal and external experts, we are happy to announce that last December we have finalized the Position Paper “Sustainable Irrigation – Focus on the framework of the EU Taxonomy”

The European Irrigation Association Association hold an online Winter Irrigation forum on 26 January 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm CET. Main topic : Plant, soil and water …a look at the rhizosphere.
