Moshi is serving voluntarily as the President of the European Irrigation Association (EIA) since 2020. Actively engaged in the Irrigation & water management sector since 14 years today Moshi is the CEO of NETAFIM in FRANCE – a global leader in smart irrigation solutions. In his current role, he’s responsible for the expansion & development of smart irrigation solutions across the French market and he is involved in various sustainability projects in the EU. Israeli by origin, started working in Netafim in Israel in 2008 and moved with his family to live and work in Southern France in 2013. Graduated from the Israeli Technological institute TECHNION with a degree in Economics and from Tel Aviv University with a Master’s degree MSc. in Operations-Research. Prior to joining Netafim Moshi held several senior positions in the fields of Finance and Commercial in the Israeli market.
Xavier is involved in the European Irrigation Association for about 10 years and serving as treasure since 2018. Xavier has been active in the irrigation industry for the past 20 years, acting in different sales and marketing positions at Rain Bird, a leading global manufacturer and provider of irrigation products and services.
Currently, he is leading Rain Bird sales and Specification activities in France & North Africa and also driving new business development initiatives across Europe.
Graduated from Rennes business school with a specialization in Marketing and a Master in Business Administration from ESCP (EcoleSupérieure de Commerce de Paris).

Giulia Giuffrè is Board Member of the European Irrigation Association, role through which she acts as spokeswoman for the values of environmental protection, optimization of water consumption, respect for crops and the ecosystem. Since 2021, Giulia Giuffrè has also been the leader of the Sustainable Agriculture working group.
Born in Capo d’Orlando in Sicily, Italy, after graduating from Bocconi University in Milan, Giulia Giuffrèstarted her course at Irritec, the family company founded in 1974 that is now one of the world leaders in sustainable irrigation systems. In 2015, she assumed the position of Marketing Director and Sustainability Ambassador of Irritec and, since 2021, she also holds the role of Board Member.
With Irritec she also supports the United Nations Global Compact, which awarded herwith the title of SDG Pioneer 2021 for sustainable water management. A global recognition which follows the Italian appointment as SDG Pioneer 2020, awarded in December 2020.
Damir Čizmek is an irrigation professional with over twenty years of experience in landscape, sports turf and golf course irrigation.
He is the owner and manager of irrigation supplierIn-Aqua, based in Zagreb, Croatia, which features the team of highly competent professionals with references in planning, design, operation, and maintenance service support at number of complex irrigation systems.
With education background in water and land management he developed mmultidisciplinary understanding of water engineering, irrigation design and management, irrigation control systems and communications and turf & landscape management practices.
He isa member of the Board of Directors of the European Irrigation Associationsince 2007, with years of involvement in organization of EIA education courses for irrigation professionals andhas served asPresident of the EIAin the period 2017 to 2020.
Dorothea has been active in the field of irrigation mainly in the gardening and landscaping industry & urban greening for 11 years. She is currently a managing partner at LITE-SOIL in Austria, a leading provider of water storage and subsurface irrigation systems in Europe, the U.S., and other countries. She is responsible for the global expansion of the company’s sales operations. A native of Austria, she lives with her family in Vienna. She earned a law & European law degree from Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria and a degree in economics from Emory University in Atlanta, USA. Previously, she held various management positions as HR director of the biggest company in Austria and in in the field of the environment and renewable energy sector, including in the Arab market, South Africa, the U.S., and throughout Europe – primarily Eastern Europe. Sustainable irrigation is a major priority for her.
Santi is and Agronomic Engineer graduate by the UPC ( University Polytechnic of Catalonia). He has worked managing an agricultural property for a couple of years. He has worked as a Freelander doing some projects until I started to work for the Spanish distributor Rimopemar taking care of projects and sales during almost 7 years. After he moved to Hunter where this year He has celebrate his 25 years of work and He is the Europe Regional Manager.
With 28 years of experience in different industries such as Automotive, Medical and now Irrigation and different positions, Frederic FLESZAR is the Sales and Marketing Director at SOLEM – a specialist of IoT products, in charge of the Irrigation business development mainly in EMEA. He was formerly Area manager during 7 years for a Medical Japanese company, in charge of African and European territories. Graduated from Tours engineering school, he is located in Montpellier area. Frederic is a new member of the European Irrigation Association (EIA), taking over the role of Frederic COMTE.
Bruno is a member of EIA since 2003 and of the board since 2007. Engaged in irrigation research activity since 1990 with Cemagref (that became Irstea in 2013 and INRAE in 2018), he focused on irrigation technology performance and management. He was first working on center pivot machine then extending his scope on drip irrigation always concentrating on systems performance. Until 2020, he managed the laboratory of INRAE that concentrates its research on irrigation technology and practices to better the water use efficiency, whatever the climate (sprinkler drift and evaporation) and water quality (drip behavior with suspended solids or biofilms, nutrients distribution in fertigation and chemigation) conditions. He graduated from Bordeaux SupAgro and has a PhD in Agronomy from the University of Montpellier.
Michael is a French landscape engineer and co-founder of Urbasense.
After working as a business development officer in urban agropedology and then as a works manager in the field of green spaces, he has been working on the development of Urbasense for the last 7 years. The company is specialized in agronomic irrigation management and works mainly in Europe. Through his role as CEO, he aims to implement a tangible and positive impact business model.
Through his contribution to the EIA, his objective is to participate in the evolution of the irrigation business, in particular through the increasing consideration of water scarcity in the strategies of public and private actors.
Anthony Sèches is the Business Unit Europe Technical & Marketing Sales Support Director at Rivulis Irrigation, supporting with his team the sales and marketing activities of Rivulis Irrigation in most of the European countries.
Anthony has been involved in the irrigation World for the last 30 years. Before joining Rivulis, he has been during 14 years, the General Manager of NaanDanJain France covering North Europe and France activities. With his team, he participated to the development of the dripline, micro & sprinklers sales of Israeli based company NaanDan and Indian based Jain Irrigation across those territories. Before that he assumed the role of Sales manager for Rolland Sprinklers with activities in France, rest of Europe, North Africa and Africa mainly.
Anthony is French and holds a master’s degree from Silsoe College (Cranfield University – UK) in Agricultural Project Development. He is also graduated with a master’s degree in tropical agro-economy from ISTOM (Institut Supérieur des Techniques d’Outre Mer) and a BTech in Irrigation from Rodilhan Irrigation Technicians School.

He has extensive experience in the irrigation industry, with a strong focus on precision agriculture, digital technologies, and data-driven water management. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the development and adoption of advanced irrigation solutions, supporting growers in optimizing performance and sustainability.
He brings a broad vision of smart irrigation systems, including the integration of artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and real-time data to improve decision-making and resource efficiency across agricultural operations.
An agricultural engineer by background, Bruno is based in the Netherlands, where he continues to play an active role in industry initiatives and collaborative platforms such as the European Irrigation Association.
Fleur Martin has been editor-in-chief of Irrigazette magazine since 2002, a European magazine on irrigation and water saving (agriculture and landscape). Irrigazette is published every two months in two languages (English and French), and also has an online version https://irrigazette.com/
Fleur Martin joined EIA as Communications Officer in 2019.
She holds a master’s degree in economics and business management from Université Paris 9 Dauphine (Paris, France) and a diploma in journalism from CFPJ (Paris, France).
Daria Fontana has been working with the European Irrigation Association since 2025 as Communication and Marketing Assistant. She contributes to communication and dissemination activities, stakeholder relations and the organisation of professional events, supporting the association’s work on irrigation, water management and sustainability at European level.
She has an academic background in sociology, socio-economics and urban planning, with degrees from the University of Padua, the National Research University Higher School of Economics (Moscow), and a double Master’s degree in Urban Planning for Transition from IUAV University of Venice and Tongji University. She has developed her professional experience through collaborations with international associations, research institutions and project-based organisations, working at the intersection of communication, research support and stakeholder coordination. Her work has focused on supporting dialogue between experts, institutions and practitioners, and contributing to multidisciplinary initiatives in the fields of environmental sustainability, urban governance and resource management.
