EIA Working Group 6 held its first meeting on May 25, 2021

Working Group 6 has 5 participants: Fleur Martin, EIA (leader), Vicky Barbouti – Rivulis, Celine Palvadeau – Netafim France, Pilar Ureatta – Matholding, and Keith Bellin – Irritec.

During this meeting, participants realized that the way people see EIA at the current website is problematic. It was decided to  propose the development of the website as the main platform for EIA communication. We would like to propose a project to upgrade the website with the objective to present relevant, dynamic content, to promote events, and become the face of Irrigation in Europe.

The objective of WG 6 is also the development of Editorial Content of the website. The WG6 members decide to create an Editorial committee, whose aim is to propose and select articles to develop EIA website and create a technical library for our members.The articles must be technically and agronomically satisfactory and no-commercial oriented

The meeting was dynamic and the participants seemed interested in the activities of our working group.

The next meeting of WG 6 will be held at the end of June.
