EIA Sub-Working Group Plastics in Irrigation held a meeting on 31 May

1. Participants : Ido Raanan, Netafim (Head), Fleur Martin (EIA, Irrigazette),  Jean-Sébastien BOMY (Rivulis), Warren S. Gorowitz (Hunter).

1. Agenda
   1. Call to order, competition law
   2. Approval of April’s meeting minutes.
   3. New members introduction: We welcomed Bomy and Warren; each has a vast experience in the irrigation market and excellent knowledge of its different stakeholders.
   4. We recognized the need for other major irrigation plastic manufacturers’ representatives.
   5. We discussed the position statement of the EIA about plastics in agriculture.
   6. We discussed mapping the different products that need to be addressed by the irrigation plastic WG.
   7. We discussed priorities for collaborations with external organizations (EPA, farmers or recyclers).
2. Decisions
   1. There is a shared file in which the group members will fill in the potential products for recycling; Both existing schemes and new ones.
      1. A separate tab will be added to the sheet to list collection companies and ongoing schemes.
