The EDP will be held on the same days that were initially scheduled for EIMA - from 11 to 15 November 2020 - and will take place on a specially created digital platform, constituting a bridge event with the February physical review. By registering, visitors will have free access to the platform to "visit" and contact all the two thousand exhibitors of traditional EIMA who will offer their products. The visitors will also be able to make an appointment for virtual visits. Ample space will be dedicated to training and information meetings with many activities and events.
The EDP project aims to ensure that EIMA can increasingly assert its brand as an innovative reality in the current landscape of exhibitions, capable of offering solutions even in times of crisis with tailored services and opportunities to industry stakeholders.
An intuitive and engaging system
After accessing the system, designed in such a way as to be intuitive and engaging, the visitor can embark on a journey that will lead him to search for the exhibitors he is interested in, follow the events live or on-demand, and contact the EIMA team for all his needs.
The platform will be active from 9:00 on Wednesday 11 November until 24:00 on Sunday 15 November, 24/7. All the content will be fully available also in English.
VISITORS REGISTRATION WILL BE ACTIVE FROM 15 SEPTEMBER 2020.
The exhibiting firms are organized in 14 planets/product sectors, the same as the traditional EIMA sectors. This section contains all the exhibitors of the physical EIMA, each with a virtual room where it will be possible to watch institutional videos, find product news, browse catalogues, and above all establish contact with the staff to request any information. Visitors can easily conduct their searches by company name, product sector or product.
The true heart of EDP is this meeting space. Over the five days of the event, it will host focus meetings, seminars, events and live shows offered directly by FederUnacoma and by industry publishing houses and stakeholders. These initiatives can be followed and shared in every corner of the world.
